I am getting 100 kilobytes a second! Woohoo! It is days like this that make me happy to have broadband - pity they are so few and far between!
 
I really wish they would upgrade the speed of us old Classic Customers as well
 
Indeed we are flying tonight. Took me about an hour to get the modem to pick up the tower. I just downloaded an 86MB file from intel.com and avg speed on getright was 134.3 K/sec and 10min 58sec. It jumps up and down a bit, but I'm impessed. Highest spike I saw was around 225K/sec

Still think I'll be cancelling end of the month though. Tired of battling with a moody modem and antenna cables...
 
Apparently my modem can hit up to 3.6 mb/s and I think that our speeds last night proved that we can have even more speed. I don't know why they just don't give us the full 3.6? It is not like we will have more data every month and so will saturate the network 24/7. Can you imagine the pain of R1 a meg if you can hit 3.6 mb/s
 
Can we go at Mbeki to make all isp give unlimited downloads at high speeds? Maybe he can put it in the constitution or something...lol
