Got a few a few of these around the house. Was wondering if it’s as simple as swopping out the controller to the likes of a Tuya thermostat

mine florr is 2000 watt, so you must make sure that controller got a good switch to handle the amps.
What is HA.

I run all of my underfloor heating through relays in the DB.

I’m thinking about using Sonoff POWr2 switches to control my floors - i.e leave their thermostats but use the Sonoff as a timer via HomeAssistant. Now you have me concerned that the current may be too high?

You should ask the installers for the exact specs of the installation

New Sonoff POW's are available that can handle 25A.

yeah mine are 15A.
but my undercarpet units are 1500W which to my mine gives a amp draw of 6 and some change amps… i think they’ll be ok.

yes, I got a honeywell one, they said it will last forever.

So ended up getting a few of the Tuya based thermostats. Quick question. The old thermostats don’t have a sensor by the looks of things. How did you wire a sensor in of the installation of the underfloor heating was done already ? Seems like a tall order to get a sensor down the conduit

Does the new one have a sensor. I will take the sensor down the wall, and place it near the floor. I saw my installation file the other day, will just look for it.
