Anybody else notice an increase in D/L speeds this weekend, specifically in the Durban North Area? Haves the network improvements started to take effect?

Don't want to jinx it but allso a bit here in Kempton Park. My speeds at night averages at about 4mbps whic is beter than what it was at 0.50mbps. but now I get more disconnects at night. Like I would be playing a game online and then suddenly get disconnected.

I think it's because a lot of the "early connect" people are now moved to their original sized packages (including me) :(

The early connect trial of 100gb or so is done now.

Best follow up with this. The notification from Rain clearly stated that the migration to Afrihost would not affect the current subscription, so you should be getting the same package for the same price.

I remembered the email was posted by a user, stating either their contract ends and service is terminated, or they get migrated to one of the packages thats in the same price bracket on Afrihost.

But hell...i moved away from Rain due to the performance...never have I gotten more than 8Mbits/s (mostly less than 4) and my disappeared gigs...disappeared for good

Yeah - think that was me..:)

But arranged cancellation yesterday with Afrihost. Got fibre installed and will sign up with CISP tonight.
