As far as I know about Local internet 196 is a LOCAL IP range, Not international. Telkom are CLEARLY LYING...

Can anybody tell me how I would collect other data on IP Addresses and give me a location of this router.

HA HA HA! I still have my 56k modem! I play on it now while the ADSL is down! WoW is so fast! I got the defias boots! ahahah! Modem DOESNT suck!

Looks fine now, IC u on shaped or unshaped ADSL ?

I don't think it makes any difference.

Why do they password-protect noticeboard.saix.net? Isn't a noticeboard by definition something that should be viewable by anyone visiting it?

Smells like Telskum doesn't want the general public informed.

Lands slide overseas has impacted the restoration of our link. Overseas technicians are waiting for permission for access from the Government as this is a disaster area.

I wonder where this landslide took place....there is no mention of it on any news sites or news channels.

lol Telkom is talking uber bull**** thats all, I havnt laughed this much, such a funny excuse.

Overseas technicians have indicated that they will have access to the site after 15 hours after which they will investigate the damage and also the restoration of this link.Major impact was to our adsl service and we have rerouted the majority of our adsl traffic to minimise the impact to our adsl service

hmmm...how can an international link *only* effect ADSL customers?

No mention at all in any news of a disaster/landslide somewhere. I think this is one of the usual lies from Telscum....
