Speed problems on capped accounts - 40mb line

I am experiencing very low speeds with afrihost on their capped accounts.
I have just upgraded my line to 40mb and am only getting download speeds of no more than 200kbs
Is anyone having the same problems

I have an openweb account but cant use it yet as they have not activated vdsl on the package as promised, once this is sorted I will try them aswell.

The problem is with us.

I would like to apologize for the inconvenience this has caused when you do try and download.

I promise you, we are changing things for our clients and trying to offer the best for each client.

I have spoken to the CEO and we are moving from the MTN backbone so that we can upgrade the bandwidth and maybe do something like get our own network for the long run.

I will keep you updated and wont forget about you :)

Let me know what else I can do to help, I will take this info to my manager to take a look at.

You have been very kind and patient with me and I hope nothing but the best internet service for all our client.

Yup, 10Mbit line here.. can't even get 1/2 way to full line speed.
 
probably misinterpreted what he was told (the support guy)
 
Their capped accounts are a load of crap at the moment. From one of the best isp's to total poo in less than 2 years.
