Speed test for Adsl line

Guys
just upgraded my line at mweb uncapped from 384 to 4mbps...
seems not that different in speed. where can i test the line speed, any ideas?
Also my original line was 4mbps before i joined telkom's 384k package a long time ago.
would that make a difference? or is it just line throttling?
Guess what I'm worried about is that mweb may be supplying 4mbps but telkom's line is 384.?
Or am i worried about nothing?
 
ok...did the speedtest, says at 31mbs download 10mbs upload...is that right? Ping 81ms - Sounds a bit slow to me.
Also put the 192. nr in the browser and page wouldn't load. please help. I'm blond...hehe...
 
make sure u are paying for 4mb line rental....and not 384 line
else u will get 384 speeds on 4mb uncapped data only package!!!!!!

Do us all a favor and make sure your line is sync'd at 4096 (or 4Meg line). Its available on your routers admin interface under ADSL Status (or similar phrases). If it isn't 4096, make sure you told MWEB to upgrade your line as well as your data-only package.
