Over the last few weeks i have had terrible speeds and disconnections , not loosing sync loosing connection to the ISP (telkom) I have noticed many people complaining about the speed and quality of their ADSL.
IMO the speed test is not good enough and is just giving the the best speed over a very short period which is not a true reflection of what is really happening with our ADSL connections.
I feel we need a more comprehensive speed test over say 5 minutes with more data sent and received the reason for this is that i feel the ISPs have some how configured their networks to over come the speed test and give a better rather than a true speed test.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
