Speed Testers

hey guys,

I need to test my website that is hosted in USA. Does anyone know of a website in South Africa that you can to a website speed test against 56k dial-up users and ADSL users to see how fast the website loads up for that criteria of users from South Africa?

P.S. where is myadsl hosted (South Africa, Europe, USA?)

ajoe. I dont know of any local sites that do ping requests to overseas. But as an idea:

Local Site
PING : 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from www24a.your-server.co.za (196.7.147.24): icmp_seq=1 ttl=246 time=34.1 ms
64 bytes from www24a.your-server.co.za (196.7.147.24): icmp_seq=2 ttl=246 time=35.7 ms

International Site
PING : 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from ns1.tjololo.com (65.254.63.210): icmp_seq=1 ttl=49 time=477 ms

Hosting overseas makes a huge difference unfortunately. I have noticed a decrease in traffic since moving my site to an overseas provider.
