Hi can anyone help me with the speeds (Mbps) of the following:

HSDPA
3G
EDGE
GPRS

ISDN
ADSL
iBURST

HSDPA comes in various speeds: 1.8mbps, 3.6mbps, 7.2mbps
3G:384kbps
EDGE: about 200kbps (dont know exact value)
GPRS: about 60kbps (dont know exact value)

ISDN had 2 variants: 64kbps and 128kbps
ADSL: In SA: 384kbps, 512kbps, 4mbps.
IBurst: 1mbps

Doesn't 3g go up to 3.6mbps?

There is no definition of speeds specified ny the ITU for 3G.

EDGE for example is part of the 3G standard.

EDGE can carry data speeds up to 236.8 kbit/s. Although in theory you could get double that but not here anyway.

GPRS 60kb/s download & 40kb/s upload.

3G in all it's forms is basically 384kb/s up to 14.4Mb/s

Sounds about right for South Africa at least. Obviously other countries will have different speeds. but that is what they are here.

T3 sucks^^ in Germany we have DSL that goes up to 50 MBit/s and even faster (up to 125)
