Speeds still Ok?

We are all just tired of stating the most obvious:

1. Speeds suck
2. Helpdesk Suck
3. Sintech Management sucks
4. etc.

That's all...

Nic or Rodent, isn't it possible to write put something on a website that works with Cookies where you leave the page open in your browser and it does a speed test say every 5 minutes...gets recorded in a database and that way we can track the different towers? When a user registers the first time and logs on, he/she records the tower and package?

That can be handy to monitor the service...

I believe Rodent set up something similar to that at
http://rodent.za.net/speed/index.php
( without auto-updates every 5 mins)

I dont know if any results are available yet ?

using tower 12-Mintek,
i am currently getting about 26.1kbps from my 256kbps package...
but not at 1/10th the price :-(

Also getting lots of "Error 678" - remote computer didnt respond
just keep re-trying and i eventually get through

Reminds me of dial-up internet back in 1996 :-)
