Are you guys experiencing some hectic fluctuations on Intl. downloads tonight? Mine is up and down, anything from 4KB/s :eek: up to 118KB/s? :D
 
yes, speak to Tyrone and kick his ass, called twice, both times its my settings! grrrr
 
yeah i think it could be that backhaul prob, the fact that everyone is downloading for the sake of it or maybe someone gave it one last try to see if thier throttling system works ok
 
well i downloaded a file from Sentech @ 43kbps and on iBurst at 5kbps :(

Even worst in my life right now is this, from Sentech to iBurst:
121 packets transmitted, 115 received, 4% packet loss, time 120067ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 279.514/3601.601/10280.368/2234.708 ms, pipe 11
 
Also multithreading, averaging around 20KB/s ... sometimes bounces up to 120KB/s, but only for short periods of time

:p - dude that's only bcos you're using up all the bandwidth...:D

Anyway, I would like to thank everyone for experiencing a little bit of what I've had now since Januray on a daily basis...where's the valium & pain killers & whisky...
 
i got a bit of the flashing traffic light for about 2 min (about 23h40) and then manually reset the modem and problem sorted..
 
Had to clear up 21GB for the download i started at 2 this morning. hasnt stopped for one second, average downing 120KB/s, graph is beautifully steady.

Thank you iBurst for at least letting me enjoy this test phase, coz i didnt have any probs with it. Towers went out like 2ice in the month ive had it for and for like no longer than 2 hrs :)
