Speedstick issues

Hi,

I'm in the Pretoria area and this morning my 5GB speedstick started alternating between flashing dark blue and light blue, and the connectivity was awful. It seems to have improved now, but I'm still getting alternating flashes - longer on the pale blue. Is this related to the tower upgrades CellC is busy with?

Also, I tried phoning 084140, and held the line for 25 minutes before disconnecting in disgust. Is 084140 to be the new 0800 375 375!?

I had the same problem in Mooikloof (early morning) and then later in Hatfield. In fact I could connect with a very good signal indicated, but was unable to access any websites. But now seems to be much better in Hatfield.

Try not to apply so much, or dab with a towel to remove the excess before putting on your shirt.

Im looking to change anti-perspirants. By the way, moved to a mixture of sanex and Nivea

The dark blue/ light blue is easy to explain and is nothing to worry about. When it makes a fast HSPA connection it goes dark blue. The moment you start transmitting and receiving packets of data it automatically goes light blue. If it is idle for a set time it goes back to dark blue - this is normal.

WRT your poor data speeds, that is something else, and is probably linked to the problems being experienced in your area, but which seems like it is slowly getting resolved according to the CTO
