I know this is probably a very silly post but it's a gripe nonetheless

Older speedstick anti perspirants had a plastic thingy under the lid, you remove this and you could use it and it had a dial at the bottom

the NEW one has a plastic thingy under the lid that CANNOT be removed (i think) just has little holes and if you turn the botttom knob it just makes a clicking sound

what am i doing wrong???

the stuff gets squeezed through those little holes, just keep turning.
