MyBB will also fluctuate a lot, whereas Speedtest is more consistent .

MyBB's speed test just sucks. I do my speed test only with speedtest

I found that MyBB's Speedtest runs too short, it's fine for local but with the added international latency you never see a true speed as it doesn't get enough time to get to speed.

Why does mybroadband speedtest shows me:169ms, 5.82MB/ps down

Speedtest.net:26ms, 8.78MB/ps

I have a 10meg line. Which one is correct?

The test servers are located in different data centers.

Some ISPs prioritise traffic to speedtest servers to enhance the results.

Hadn't used the MyBB speedtest for a while and I see it's changed, no International just Joburg and CT. Results are still the same though (10MB line):

I have seen this a lot too. Speed test .net giving the better results, but sometimes the difference is just too big
