Basically it wants you to enter the credentials of the different machines so it can collect further information.

Dunno if its this new version of Tapatalk, but I still can't read what it says on the pic
I added a better res image, maybe something else wrong?

I got it that it needs the credentials, but most of the pc's does not have a log in username and password, and also not the visa machines. Thats my main problem.

I suggest you start with a simple ping monitor like this one : http://www.manageengine.com/free-ping-tool/download.html

It allows 10 devices to be monitored via ping.Install it and add your IP addresses and see what it does

Spiceworks is really where you want to be, but start off simple. Until you have a better idea of what SNMP and wmi are, keep it for the future

You don't need the authentication to do basic ping monitoring.

It's only applicable to Windows/Linux machines with services that can be monitored.

Just go setup notifications/reports for those IP addresses to send you a warning when they are offline.
