Splashtop Remote Sound

So, this might sound like a stupid question, but is there any way to output sound to a device connecting remotely, when the connected device does NOT have a sound card?

That might make no sense but let me explain, i want to connect my phone/tablet to the media server and play sound from the media server to the tablet / phone. BUT the media server does not have a sound card...

That's possible. If you stream audio or video to your tablet it will play with sound, even though the server doesn't.

I does not need to, to the server it is just data, the remote device (your phone) converts the data to audio.

I am using Splashtop, not RDP. I know with RDP it will bring the sound to the device.

I will fiddle more this weekend.
