Is it possible to split audio, so: eg, my Skype calls, to go through my headset and music or game to go through my normal speakers?

Thanks

There is a way in vista and win 7 I think. Go to sound ---> mixer ---> icon thingy ---> output select.

No that is not what he is looking for. I also want get some aps on speakers and other apps on headset

I think you'd need a second sound card to do that - otherwise an external splitter box that you can select the output to speaker or headset

You don't really need a sound card to do that
I do it with a USB headset and a standard built-in sound card.

@ronald: Is your Headset USB?

EDIT: Okay I know what OS you're running and your WMP version. Just need to know if you're running a USB headset or not.
