Toy Story in an Alien thing!?

Reminds me of Doom. And thats a good thing
I was really hoping for a proper full-on horror tv series but this isn't it. However, I do like the scifi elements. Still a bit early to tell - about to watch E02.

that one scene just after Hermit gets rescued does not make any f.... sense: there's a bunch of torn up bodies, but he doesn't even mention that there's a gigantic alien monster running around killing people. wtf

Whoa. Really enjoyed the first two episodes.
Ep 01 9/10
Ep 02 8.5/10

Couple of dumb character moves in 02.

Overall good story, acting, casting and FX so far. Let's hope they will keep this up.

Woke meter so far: 02/10.
About same level as original Alien and Aliens... Meaning a bit of diversity and a strong female lead...but nothing even close to the recent few years of woke obsession. So no real wokeness at the moment.

They can transfer your "soul" and your whole "being/ID" to a synth via BT...but they still cannot cure cancer???

Why are all these dying people that are given new bodies, CHILDREN ? Now we have a "rescue-the-world team" that consist out of goofy children inside superpowered synth bodies.

Why is the ship portrayed in space as if it is the size of Manhattan...but when it crashes it is 10% of that size and they find the "lab" in about 2 minutes after entering the ship via a random hole in the side?

Cannot wait to watch S01E02 today.......

They mention that older brains struggle to accept the new body...kids brains are still malleable enough to accept the new situation.

What is an "older" brain? What age exactly ? It still makes zero sense and is just their weak way of trying to explain away the obvious idiocy of this concept.

And now these children with zero combat experience, zero combat medic experience and zero experience in general...are sent to enter and investigate this crashed ship??
