Can someone explain why in all the multiverses Dr Strange looks the same but the Spidermen all look different?
 
Because they haven't had a succession of Dr. Strange movies played by different actors in the way they have with Spiderman?
 
I mean for the storyline. There has to be a reason for it to make sense.

That is the least of the problems with this film, but feel free to add it to the heap.
The only good scenes were the ones where you can tell Sam Raimi had control.

A pity it will still make money. 4/10 movie and that's being generous
 
What I want to know is when did dr strange and the baron Mordo became enemies.
Dr strange says in a scene that mordo tried to kill him but I dont remember when that was shown..
Neither in the movies nor in animated series "the watcher" .

Pretty sure there are *some* universes where Dr Strange doesn't look like Benedict Cumberbatch and *some* alternate universes where there are more Peter Parkers who look like Tom Holland. We haven't seen every single universe in the "infinite multiverse"?

Not much time was spent on this, it was hinted at in the first movie that things had gone sour between them and its post credits scene Mordo says something about there being too many sorcerers in the world. I suspect the original plan was to have the Dr Strange sequel feature Mordo as the villain but then the multiverse plotline became the over-arching plan for the lead up to the next Avengers level crisis.
 
Can we discuss the latest film here?

I watched it last night and yep, as promised, it was heavy on the horror elements. A bit campy at times, as you'd expect from Raimi, but the horror came through.

Wanda/Scarlett Witch's powers were on full display, we can clearly see now that she is the strongest character in the Universe, even capable of surviving alt Captain Marvel in combat. The way she brutalised the Illuminati was something I was not expecting (RIP Black Bolt). The level of brutality was way above Disney PG13 and was something that would not have been out of place in Deadpool. Mutants are now also officially in the MCU with the appearance of Reed Richards (fans got their John Krasinksi Mr. Fantastic) and Prof X. The incursions also open the door for much more world-colliding down the road, so they're going to be roping in all sorts of Marvel cameos down the line I reckon, even just once-offs for fan service.

It felt more like an extension of WandaVision than a Dr Strange movie. I knew the two were going to mesh, but the movie very much had Wanda at the center. Perhaps similar to how Captain America: Civil War is in hindsight an Avenger film more than a Captain America film.

Pretty much yes, way too much emphasis on Wanda as opposed to Dr. Strange.
The plot was also too convoluted in requiring you watch some other shows for background. This seems to be the trend going forward by the way. Movies servicing as extented trailers to get people to watch the upcoming series. It wasn't a complex plot just an unhinged woman looking for her imaginative children. A woman who wasn't really evil, but just misunderstood.

The fan service was done in completely the wrong way though. You don't want to for example see a Mr. Fantastic only to have him turn into spaghetti with the others just looking on. That is nostalgia bait, the lowest fruit when it comes to fan service. Now they can claim the already featured him so no need to do so again. They basically hyped up Wanda by diminishing other characters.

I wouldn't expect too many future movies featuring characters anyone cares for. This movie also served as a vehicle to introduce America Chavez :sick: "By the power of the bee!"

Ay, I wouldn't call Wanda misunderstood as Scarlett Witch. She straight up kept people trapped in the series and was quite happy to kill people. She knew she crossed a line when ''other Wanda's'' kids were afraid of her.

The saving grace is, because of the Multiverse, Mr. Fantastic can come back as another version. They can just bring characters in as once-offs for fan service and they probably will do this quite a bit, but at the same time they can have multiple versions of that character if they really do want to do something with them.
