I post this under business as business are the most likely donors, but I have had a few PMs from individuals wanting to "do their part".
I often help wherever I am able to. Mostly out of my own pocket, but at times I am not able to.
In doing so, I have made many connections and friends doing very good work all over the country, but especially in the Western Cape.
I approach businesses with their CSI initiatives, and individuals whenever required.
What do they need? Well, what do you have?
I have a non-profit rehab centre in the helderberg in need of funding, as their income is not equal to the expenses of counselors salaries, rent, electricity, etc... yet they are open and the counselors and doctors working there are taking 25% - 40% of their salary more months than they should.
This funding is easier for a business, but what can we do? They are in immediate need for 2 "older" laptops for the counselors to do workshops/presentations "in the field", where patients are not able to travel to them.
There are many, MANY, more like these. Clinics, orphanages, daycare clinics for the elderly... There is so much to do.
