From the first picture I thought the back middle seat had a head rest up which meant blocking the rear-view mirror.
I really over thought it.

Was not in motion at time of snapping, I am a relatively safe driver. Is this now besides your dumbness taking pictures while driving..?
MK1 fiesta st.I’m just trying to tell what car OP is driving from the reflection on the back of the Polo.
How much rating are you thinking?Honestly - I'm a bit disappointed in this thread. Was expecting the car guy to bring the shit that made me lose my shit but all we get is a folded rearview. Nee man.
At the moment a banged up Fiat, a banger if you will. Uber reliable.I’m just trying to tell what car OP is driving from the reflection on the back of the Polo.
Passenger side mirror is not essential for driving. It helps, but you can do without it.
Edit: if you own or drive a car from the 80s, there's a good chance it doesn't even have a passenger side mirror.
Fair point, I did take that into account but not to be pedantic if a person's modern car has said mirror surely it should be available for use lolYep, my '82 VW Golf has no passenger side mirror and the last I recall only one rear facing mirror is legally required on cars in SA.

But it is available for use.. it's on the car, it exists, available for use.. she wasn't using it, but it's there..Fair point, I did take that into account but not to be pedantic if a person's modern car has said mirror surely it should be available for use lol
I used to fold mine on the Pug in when on the highway to lessen wind resistance. Go fast mode.I don't think on the Polo that you can just fold one mirror in. So unless both were folded in, then it was likely knocked by a passerby. Or maybe the motor failed...it is a Polo, after all
I found the mirror folded this way on my Hyundai a few moons ago. Someone had knocked it closed, probably trying to squeeze through between my car and another in a parking lot. Luckily the motor declutches when it's not being used so I could just unfold it with my hand.
I miss the folding mirrors, actually. My current ride doesn't have it, as far as I know. It was handy when once or twice in gridlock traffic, I could fold them in to let a wider motorcycle (BMW 1200GS or similar) squeeze past me.
lol at South africastan, keep it up.sure when you'll go to the US, you'll see the exact same thing with a F150
or a Tesla, or anything we dont get in South africastan.
only difference will be the side of the road they drive on, and the enormity of their SUV's
SA is becoming a Sh1th0le, might as well, have a name that suits it, like Uzbekistan or Turkmenistanlol at South africastan, keep it up.
You can bet your bottom dollar when I am in the US I will be observing all kind of mischief & what not.
