Spotify subscriber numbers hit 50 million

I bought from a trustworthy Ebay seller back in the day. Never had an issue. The few proper online stores that sell Spotify Premium vouchers usually charge more than $10.
what do you not like about Deezer?
- general user experience not great imo
- sound quality isn't as good as it should be for 320kbps
- not a great Android app
- Flow and general suggestions not accurate at all (Simfy still worse)
- doesn't allow uploading
- quite a lot of stuff on Apple Music isn't on Deezer
- zero encryption (plain http)
- buggy HTML5 player
- harassing notifications
- app doesn't remember play positions
- playlists max out at 1000 tracks (smart playlists in iTunes would be broken by this in many cases)
There are probably other annoyances, but those are ones I recall off the top of my head. Deezer isn't necessarily a bad service, but imo they don't stand up to the competition from Play Music, Apple Music and Spotify.
Just a note: Deezer does actually allow you to upload music. I don't know what the limit is and it's buried under the "My Music" section, so it's not nearly as useful as Play MUsic, but the option is technically there.

This. Also no music service currently have a HTML5 player except Play Music on Chrome. Don't get any notifications and I don't find any missing music that's on Play music etc.
Tell me, back in the day I had a US iTunes/apple account because the local selection of apps etc was dismal, certain portions of the store weren't out in SA etc. It seems things are a bit better now. Is it easiest to just register an SA account?
I've noticed on the pricing side songs in SA are R10 but in the US $1+fees of whatever workaround you use. Not than I plan on buying anything, basically only just the Apple music subs.

Thanks for the correction. Not sure if it's a new feature or just that well hidden, but I had no idea during my month trial. Doesn't make up for the general feature disparities though, as Play Music and Apple Music let you keep a cohesive library with everyone in one place.
Depends on the genre perhaps. I ran into quite a few albums that weren't on Deezer, although I was comparing to Apple Music, which I think has the best catalogue of all the services.
HTML5 isn't a big deal if a service isn't focused on its web app. Simfy's website is a half-hearted convenience for customers, and Apple Music requires iTunes. I give both a pass on the website and judge based on the desktop apps. But Play Music and Deezer should have jacked up HTML5 sites. I'm not enabling Flash in my browser or using a separate browser for one website.
Unless things have changed, the Deezer desktop app sucks enough to not qualify as a primary means of accessing the service.
Our local Apple Music catalogue is exceptional. If the US version has more, it can't be much more. And you can always easily add to your library manually anyway, so it's not a train smash like with most other services.
You may as well switch just for how much cheaper our region is. R60 is way nicer than $9.99pm for Apple Music, and as you pointed out, the iTunes Store is cheaper too.
