Hi,

Anyone in Randburg that sprays mags at all?

There is a place on Main road, just before it becomes Bram Fischer or just after, not quite sure. But it's on your right as you drive from Bryanston towards Linden..

Cool!

Thanks!

Do you know if spraying a car is the same as spraying a mag?
Or is the process different?

is it just one mag? original colour?
colour change?

i know someone that does this in his spare time if you interested

All four ...

I'm looking at white/silver (AMG colour) - and yea, the more options the better.

Where is he based though?

based in centurion/midrand
ive seen some of his work, pretty decent
and I bet you wont be able to get a better price

will pm his number

rodga - I sent a thank you PM, but not sure if it sent or not :/

But I'm also interested about chips, scratches etc?

I'm thinking of taking them to one guy to smooth down and remove scratches/chips - and then to someone to paint them

Yes it can get quite expensive. Anything from R600 to R800. Insurance pays about R1000 per rim that needs to be painted.

Fixing rims are quite easy and is the same proccess as painting cars use the same paint too.

Ms Primer, Close hole with stopper fine, 1k grey primer over the stopper fine, basecoat for metalics and the clear coat or if its like a black rim you can put basecoat black and clear or use 2k black to paint it.

Steel rims can also be painted but needs more tlc cause they need ETCH primer on them :)

Panel beaters can also do your rims so you could also get quotes at panel shops.
