Hey everyone.

How much does it cost to spray paint a car White.

no cheap stuff. just wanna know the price of a professional.

The car is a Golf 3 1.6

well the paint itself is no more than a 1000 bucks, you just need the know how and the tools

I've got a jetta 3 with metallic green paint - someone reversed into my driver's side passenger door, and it needed replacing. I ended up paying extra and resprayed the car. It costs around R1000 per section (i.e.: one door, boot, bonnet, roof). I know the guy who owns the place so I think he charged me a bit less. I think it cost something like R8k for the whole car - possibly closer to R10k if I had taken it anywhere else. It would be less if its just white, but it might be a problem if you are changing the car's colour to white from another colour.

Spraying involves skill. You get people that know what they do and then you get those that dont have a clue. A good spray job is gonna cost big bucks due to the labour involved.

If you take in a stripped chassis it'll be cheaper, I wouldn't budget on less than R8K tho.

I had my car completely sprayed last year to Pearl white...I was quoted on a non metallic colour, but they didn't change the quote when I changed my mind - R 15 000 plus VAT...that was fully down to the metal and start all over again the way you see it on Overhaulin.
