Hey guys,

Ok I want to spray the inside of my case black, but i don't know where to start... Like which spray paint would be best for this?? should I coat the inside with something else first or what??

thanks guys :D

Spray it first with a primer then use black spray paint. The paint i use is made by a company called SprayON, Spectra also makes good paint

Just be wary of painting. Wait at least a month before putting your stuff back in so the paint can cure properly. Also google a bit and find a guide.

Most important thing is to paint in a CLEAN area with no dust. I painted my old case and F***ed it up. I did everything I could but those dust particles WILL F*** your paint job up. I then bought a new case because of it.

I would suggest taking it to a professional place or building yourself a clean room before painting.

And clean the surface with some solvent before applying the primer. Those old oily fingerprints will mess up a good attempt.

Why don't you send it off for powdercoating? There's a range of colours available and fairly cheap to do and the finish is excellent and durable.

Ok thanks guys :D where would one send a case off for powdercoating??

If you are going to powercoat you have to strip it down to bare metal, acid etch/sandblast etc. It won't take over existing paintwork. Quite a mission.

If you pick the right powdercoater then they'll do that cleanup for you.

For powdercoaters in your area, just check in the yellow pages. You could also probably find a sandblasting company to clean that case up.

It is a little mission, but powdercoating is a very nice finish and it lasts.
