Spring speed test competition – win R5,000

We are running a spring speed test competition and giving you a chance to win R5,000 cash.

Steps to enter:

1. Download the MyBroadband Speed Test App
   - Android Speed Test App
   - Huawei Speed Test App
   - iOS Speed Test App
2. Run a speed test over Wi-Fi or cellular network.
3. Rate your provider and post the screenshot of your test result on this thread.

Bonus: Double your entries by doing a test on both a cellular network and Wi-Fi.

Each speed test equals one entry — maximum entries: Wi-Fi (5), Cellular (5).

The competition ends on 19 September 2025, and the winners will be announced shortly.

Rain Cell works in about 60% of where I'm daily at, between Southern suburbs, CBD and West Coast (and SW area of Northern suburbs).

Had Rain start of last year about 2km of my current South suburbs location and wasn't bad high'ish ping but speeds were at least consistent on the 50Mbps plan is get 35-45Mbps, no real drops out during peak hours or rain.

Though, I do still like and would recommend Rain to the average Joe, due to the ease of use, price, free modem use, non-contract and customer support delivered by Rain (and fairly good internet depending on where you at).

Hi, see my speed tests attached. Not that happy with both, as have delays at times for no apparent reason.
