Enjoyed the game. :)

Even the fact that the Springboks won with a Penalty Kick in the last few minutes I think they deserved to win as they actually played well IMHO.

Its a miracle. Watching the Supersport chat after Jake White said they were unfit was a howl! People from all over were phoning in and giving armchair advice. Can't wait for Monday to hear how the explain the turn around..or luck we've had.

The diff was we didnt kick our possession away and we kept ball in hand and we attacked, simple.

Agreed.

Except just before the All Blacks scored their first try, Pretorius punted the ball into touch.
I thought this was a silly kick as the teams were mid-field and the scrum half threw the ball all the way back to Pretorius who was within the Springbok's 22. Quite a long throw actually.
Pretorius then punted it into touch(I think it was his left boot-dont have PVR), perhaps a couple of meters forward of the line where they had just had a Springbok Scrum.
The net result was the Springboks lost possession to a All Black line-out and the movement afterwards resulted in a try for the All Blacks.

I think sitting here giving arm chair advice:) , Pretorius is a good kicker, although a bit wonky off his left boot. He must just learn to kick at the appropriate moment.
His two failed attempts at a drop kick could also have resulted in a All Black win. Drop Kicks are Ok if you are desperate for points and should not be attempted when the scores are even. I personally think running the ball would be better as one would not lose possession as you suggested.
This is the way the All Blacks play and they usually show good results when they pass and run the ball.

Pretorius is not in the same class as Naasty Boutjies :D and should rather give the ball to the excellent lose forwards of which I was most impressed.
