I heard about the shoot-out at the Tyger Valley Spur on Sunday

"Shoot-out". IIRC, one (1) shot was fired on one of the mall cops. An actual shoot-out ensued 20-odd minutes later in Langa/Khayelitsha between assailants and police.

Was it a steak out?

I hope the people who got pointed by the 'robbers' also open criminal charges for illegal pointing of a fire-arm. Besides, hope that those traumatized sues the group and get a lot of money from them. This manager must be fired, never employed by any company again and end up a hobo.

If they had to "test" the staff, couldn't they have done it while there were no customers, arranged to open the restaurant later or something? Then again, what if one of the staff members had a gun and weren't afraid to use it?

I've always thought that if I really, really hated someone - I'd phone the restaurant every time they go there and tell them its the person's birthday. :twisted:
