Spur Incident

Typical no sound! Now we can see there's plenty of talk before hand where he probably talked to her in a calm manner (or not) until she told him to **** off and PKs started to rain!

And to be honest, that does not look like a GRAB to me. He took the kid by the arm probably to go and apologise!

Guy was completely out of order, but even with her statements, there was nothing inherently racist about this at all. I agree with the ban on him, but I don't think she should be let off the hook Scott free. This entire ordeal could have been resolved with a her apologizing for the hitting although it sounds like both children were at fault. I know I would have just appeased the angry dude as people can be irrational when their children are involved.

Yes, I did. I highly doubt Spur supplied that video to News24.

Massive!

When I was at primary school, we played against another under 13 team from KaNyamazane. They all had started growing beards and were all like 30cm taller than our tallest kids.

At 0:08, would anyone here describe that as Spur described as "aggressive"? It isn't that much different to when at 0:41 she grabbed its arm to show it off.


Also as I thought, they didn't release the full video (lets say from when he walked to the table).

Yup. Only the part that supports her side of the story, and incriminates him. Didn't expect anything less.

It is also known that for many years the brutality and hours on end of torture in farm attacks were not covered by big media (more recently the tide has turned a bit) while any and every white on black atrocity gets full attention, often with repeats and follow-ups lasting for months and of considerable less atrociousness than young men raping 80+ year olds and violating women with electric drills.

It should not be a surprise that people are sceptical about media balance and even footage they can't see for themselves (until recently) given that a paradigm of togetherness is pursued at all costs which for some reason includes an approach that leaves blacks hating whites (and getting away with blatant hatespeech and incitement) as opposed to presenting the wrong and rights of all parties.

The Spur incident is just another example of not only media focus, but in general the character of people wishing or trying to force a better world into existence (basically virtue signalling) with an approach which for some reason excludes major incidents but goes on and on regarding the relative petty because we want to control people's opinion and character and force into reality absolute equality (and I'm not talking about race, but the overall paradigm) and utopia without confronting things as they really are.

As for myself I acknowledge the supremacy of the footage over the anecdotal

Treating both sides fairly doesn't necessarily mean I am on his side. I am disgusted with his insistence that he thinks his kid should sort out her problems with violence. As is I am with her for saying that kids fighting each other is normal behavior.

If there is a sole reason for the violence in South Africa, it is parents like these two clowns.

The video clearly shows the guy grabbing the kid's arm and pulling it forward. Regardless of what transpired before, the moment you grab someone's kid in front of them, you've crossed a line that shouldn't be crossed.
