Hi all, I never had a problem before, but the last month or so I get warning messages frequently. The messages are something like:
Sign of "win32 Trojan-gen. {Other}" has been found in "C\Windows\b122.exe file
Or
Sign of "Win32:Adware-gen. [Adw]" Has been found in "C:\Windows\b129.exe" file.

I get this messages even when I'm just on this site. So it cant be something on this site, what can it be then?
Also, I have Ad Aware Se personal edition. Is this a good anti adware program? And is it a Spyware blocker and adware blocker too? I have just Windows firewall and avast on my pc. I never had a problem so I decided that I dont need bigger or better programs. Pls guide me here. Thanks

Download www.superantispyware.com for free and install .update it for free
Then also download Comodo firewall Pro (www.comodo.com) for free and install

Do a complete system scan, file should be picked up and delete it. Make a restore point (if you use XP) and delete old restore points.

You should be fine.

Get something like bitdefender instead of avast. Trust me on the first two. They are the best free software on the net in my opinion...being using it for 2 years...no problems and I visist Warez sites often...so yeah..This is the best resolve free of charge.

"please click here to install this codec to play this file" ... mmm ... been there done that ... not clicking those files again :)

Thanks all for your advice. Will try out every single one. I did a scan with ad aware, and what I saw was that of the things he found, was "trojan gen" files. So if I'm right, that is a file that generates a trojan when it comes onto your system. Thats scary. But I deleted all the critical objects anyway.

If u can get a license 4 the following, get it ;) hehehe

Agnitum Oupost Firewall

Kaspersky Anti-Virus

Ad-Aware Pro and Spy Bot search and destroy...

U will never have to worry about internet security again :p
