Where can I find DESCENT SQL 2005 Tutorials which will explain everything (or the essentials) from the beginning. I am kinda new to MSSQL and need to learn it for a project...

Thanx...

I think MSDN might be your best bet... I've never really used any SQL tutorials, but learned what I know now by just experimenting. Probably wouldn't benefit you if you need to start the project soon though, as you'll need at least a year or 2 to be fluent in the ways (not only syntax) of MSSQL.

run enterprise manager, and press F1 on your keyboard (assuming you installed the documentation)
MSDN is also a good option
You can buy my ms certification book which makes for 900 pages of the dullest reading you will ever do.

Or you can just reference the northwind database. Its basically one big sample

^ This and maybe try looking for some free ebooks? Or torrenting some pdf's? And most obviously this.

Although I don't think either will have a chapter on negative ID's :D (j/k)

LOL - I was hoping it would cover the negative ID's...!

Depends on what you're after, SQL 2005 development, or SQL 2005 administration.

It also depends what you're going to be doing? SSRS? SSIS? SSAS? SQL?
