What do I need to know to get this job?
• Matric & relevant tertiary qualification
• 2+ years of SQL Development experience
• Appropriate Microsoft technical certifications are beneficial
• Have a Drivers' License and a willingness to travel
What will I do every day?
• Develop and modify complex SQL queries, SSIS packages and stored procedures to meet business requirements.
• Ensure standardization of SQL/SSIS coding practices and adherence to coding standards, change control, and SQL best practices.
• Perform problem resolution and root cause analysis along with recommending and implementing preventative techniques.
• Ensure operational database and integration systems are functioning within specification and provide optimisation where necessary.
• Perform tests and produce results to ensure accurate compliance with project requirements.
• Manage priorities across design and development activities as well as defect resolution.
• Interact with technical and business stakeholders to, create solutions and solve problems collaboratively.
• Assist in data analysis and data modelling where required.
• .Net and C# Development experience
• Python knowledge nice to have, but not necessarily a must have
