SQL Issue

I am trying to set up a website, but still at the beginning stages of setting up a database. Now it is very frustrating, because I am stuck on a seemingly simple issue. Using SQL with java, I am trying to get a URL stored in Microsoft Access.

The problem is whenever I get it (using resultSets), bloody hashes (#) appears on the ends. From what I gather this is only suppose to happen for Dates/Time, and not Hyperlink. What makes it even more frustrating is that it didn't do this before. So anyone know how to prevent it from adding it?

You're trying to store a URL in MS Access db using Java? Why not just use PHP or ASP (depending on your server?) and server-side scripting for it?

Do yourself a favour and stop using Access. If you want to use a free MS database use SQL Express. Plenty of open source options to choose from as well.

Damn straight.. don't piss about with Access... its useless... use something like SQL Express

Thanks for the advice guys, I have started another thread as your advice made me realize I could be doing this all wrong and want to re-evaluate my method.
