I just hate it when my Jetta's shocks start to squeak after a bit of city driving. What the hell can one do to get it quiet? It's still good, just squeaking.
Replace them or squeak back!
Not gonna happen, both. lolReplace them or squeak back!
Isn't Silicone spray a oily thing? Cause then all the dirt will gather there.Try Silicon spray on the mounting bushes and actuating shaft, it sometimes helps, at least for a while.
I didn't think of that, maybe it is one of the others. I wish I could silence it. But I guess there isn't a solution. It might not actually be the shocks that are squeaking - think of all the other joints that move when your wheel does... Have you traced it to the shocks?
