squid as caching server in an ISP setup

hi,

i have configured squid as caching server. I want to cache the websites locally so that users can fetch them without actually consuming internet bandwidth. This is an ISP setup where thousands of users would be connected. We give public IP addresses to the users. But after installing squid as a caching server, whatismyip shows the IP of squid server's wan side. I want users respective ip addresses in whatismyip.com.

Please guide me.

I think you need it to be a transparent connection.
