So I have very recently bought a 2014 Ssangyong Actyon Sport and am overall happy with it.
But, I have noticed that the engine light comes on at sudden, fleeting intervals during which the car loses power. This all happens very quickly and is over in a few moments.
I have noticed that during this 'phenomena' the engine light goes off as soon as I decelerate and goes on again as I accelerate.
I have taken the car to a reputable workshop where they have serviced the car as well as ran a Diagnostic. According to the technician, no error codes are picked up.
As I understand it, a failing or failed sensor would register a fault code.
The previous owne also broke the petrol flap cable, and as a result removed the petrol flap. I doubt that that could be the problem?
Could it be debris in the fuel system? Or what could it be that can't be picked up by Diagnostics?
The bakkie is intended for work so I need to sort it urgently.
Also, it has 77K on the odometer.
Thanks all.
