So I got the OCZ Vertex 3 120GB SSD, formatted and installed Win 7 and SP1.

The space on the current OS HDD equals to about 95GB, this include OS, programmes and 5 games.

I was thinking to move the game installations and all the other folders with data to the old HDD when reinstalling the rest on the SSD.

Should I install BF3 and ME3 on the SSD or another HDD? Or should I move some of the programme installations to the old HDD too?

stop being cheap and get a 1tb SSD !!! ;)

Did you see the price? R40k for the OCZ RVD3MIX2-FHPX4-960G Revodrive 3 X2 Max IOPS PCI-Express 960GB Solid State Drive.

I would rather get a 240GB for 10% of the price

I had battlefield 3 installed on my ssd and it used to load really fast. I reinstalled windows and put battlefield 3 on a normal hdd and its like 5x slower to load. Sometimes when i t finishes loading the round has already started. Put the game or games that u play most on the ssd. If u use programs alot try and squeeze them in as well but put the game you play the most on your ssd for definite.

The PCI-E SSD's are a heck of a lot faster, since it bypasses the limitation of the controller (this case SATA3). It manages to obtain insane read/write speeds.

Storage, ie file you dont access or require speed to access for, should be stored on a different drive. Programs that requires to load files constantly (like your OS and games) should stay on the SSD.

Having 25 gig open on the SSD is more than enough IMO (unless you want to install a ****load of more games), but taking them off the SSD would definitely impact performance and load times.
