Hi guys

So we need to buy two new SSD's for our server and will be keeping them as backup. My question is, can we buy any server quality SSD's or do they have to be the ones from the brand of server we have?

Truth be told,"any brand, same or better performance unless explicitly listed as incompatible" is my mantra for such things

As far as I know Intel offer server grade SSD with 5yr Warranty. We have bought them from Rectron before

depends what your running / storing on the SSDs... if its just for the OS then a standard SSD would suffice but if your gonna store and sort of database (sql or exchange, etc..) or anything that has a high I/O rate then i would highly recommend the server grade SSD.

Iv run into issues before with a SQL database after a month or so on a standard SSD...
