Anywhere. I run Corsair's in mine - don't buy the myth of Apple-only ram!

Where can I buy ram for MacBooks is SA?
I have a friend coming over from Australia in a couple months time, maybe it'll be cheaper to order from there?

I ran my mbp with a 120GB SSD and put the old spindle drive into a caddy in the optical drive.
Nice to have the speed and the storage.
I bought 16GB RAM for my MacBook Pro 2011 from Esquire. Worked out to just over R800. Unfortunately, prices have gone up since then.
do you have a link , can't find the 1600mhz ram on their website?
Yoh... Today has been a test of patience. Almost appears to be ok - but still having Permissions issues that are not being repaired, and worryingly - a grey progress bar on startup.
Have formatted the original HDD already, and successfully moved iTunes and iPhoto on to it, with all meta-data intact.
The Spotlight indexing has also finished - so seems to be running, but for the lengthy startup. [Google says the grey progress bar was first introduced in Leopard, and appears when OSX is trying to resolve a disk issue. All forums' advice (from back then) was that it usually precedes disk failure - which surely cannot be the case now?).
I now have my TM backups that were last made prior to the SSD installation, and made a 2nd clone of the original HDD onto an external.
What would you all do?
Start all over again, or wait it out for a bit and see if things improve?

Can I use this to connect macbook to HDMI AMP/Samsung TV?
R153 is not too bad at all, I was after an Apple TV but thinking I can just buy this cable, install AirServer and Remote , connect Macbook to wifi at home and use this cable to TV, got my self an Apple TV sort of.
