Stabilise your line yourself

This is for any Broadcom-based modems (DSL-2750u in this case). Note that I am not saying this is a perfect solution... It has to be changed every time your line disconnects or re-synchs, or every time your router reboots/powers down.

Steps:
  1. Enable telnet client

  2. Go into command prompt and type telnet 10.0.0.2. Log in as admin

  3. Enter adsl configure --snr x where x is the % SNR you want to change. I.e. a value of 200 will change an SNR of 6dB to 12dB, and a value of 50 will change from 16dB to 8dB.

Your router will lose synch for about half a minute then reconnect with your new SNR setting (the speed will automatically be determined by Telkom to accommodate your SNR preference).

Remember, it will change every time the router loses synch. That means power loss, rebooting, line errors etc.
Could probably write a script to do this automatically for you.
