Hello All,

quick question, how is everyones stability lately? at first I thought maybe its just me but I have heard from other users that there connections have become extremely stable over the past few days.

My connection has been connected for over 5 days (With the same ip) Dylan has been idle 116hrs 29mins 46secs, signed on Sat Jul 09 01:22:53

<ReeFeR> Current profile: iBurst
<ReeFeR> Connected (7d 8h 6m 57s)

ITO being thrown off my base-station [presumably contention or whatever mysterious ailment has befallen iBurst at any point in time], SWE2 says: "Connected (0d 4h 34m 51s)", basically whenever speed grinds to a halt, an 'i've been disconnected again beep' follows from SWE2...:(

A client of mine has been up and running for 15d 12h 33m 16s.
That means they have been accessible for that period of time. There are a couple of disconnects and reconnects for IP changes. But they have had 15 days solid access to the network. No downtime.

This month they have had 96% uptime.
Last month they had 81.740% Uptime.

But hey I have ADSL clients with 99.974% uptime. :)

yeah my uptime is good I can get 7 - 10 days ussually before it disconnects for a couple seconds/minutes, speed is sucking in the day and at night its great but I keep getting cut off whenever I hit the cap, if they sort that out it'd be ok

currently connected: 5 days, 23 hours, 49 Mins.

I take my hat off to Luis, Sam, Emil and all the other technicians, Well done guys.

I've never really had problems with disconnections, I am however experiencing major throttling during office hours. At times I’m down to 16.9 (kiloBytes/second).I've been documenting speed tests during specific times of the day and will post it as soon as a pattern is recognizable.

Sihen:
I have remained connected since last week, but, I don't consider that of importance. What I do consider of pressing importance is why are my speeds decreasing? Every week it's slower and slower!

Wish I could say the same , I get disconnections every night. I have 5led's on the unit

Kei sorry to hear your speeds are slow, This posting was due to I personally think stability is more important then speed, but thats my feelings... I know alot of peeps agree with me.. Maybe call Shaun from WBS and ask him to come visit you?

I'm happy as long as I get more than say 12 kilobytes / second and when I connects, it works. I'm also happy as long as the connection is stable, and all my apps work.
When SSH, Email, MSN etc dies thats annoying.

I would stay connected at days on end and my speeds were always good - like 90-110 KBps.
Since last week and all the $#@% - i had 1KBps downloads. Since the maintenance I got up to 30KBps (until tonight, back to 1KBps) - while I was getting 30KBps - sometimes I would stay connected for a couple of minutes, sometimes hours - but thats about it.

This new problem is an irritation, I might even revert back to ISDN (since ADSL isnt available to me).

The connection has been stable all the time as far as the 5 LEDs go, that is until 3 days ago, since then it's been disconnecting and reconnecting between 3 to 5 times a day.

Speeds from around the 6th of this month have been erratic bouncing from around 100kbps to 1mbps, and then almost dying to nothing the past 3 days.

Somehow I think "Stability" is the wrong title for this thread, I suggest "Uptime & Reliability"

Well, I cant do any form of speed testing thanks to the wonderful transparent proxy piece of **** that WBS has:

I still have 1.5 gig left on my account yet I am getting capped speeds now!
