Stage 2 load shedding is back

What you or Banana boy might not know is that our coal powered power stations are actually specifically designed to effectively operate on low grade coal NOT to run A grade coal, that is usually for export.

Forward thinking from the engineers of the time, burn the cheap and abundant stuff, export the high quality coal for long term cash revenue

Called it when the nersa rise was announced

What's the NERSA rise got to do with loadshedding?
Have you never noticed the correlation between nersa not giving eskom the 30% increase they want and load shedding starting again within a month?

Not really no. Didn't happen last year for example. Seems to correlate more with Eskom simply not having enough generation capacity.

Senseless to loadshed just because you don't get an increase you asked for. Just costs Eskom revenue. Less revenue means less theft.. and the boys running Eskom LOVE theft.
