Eskom's timing has been great lately. For me anyway.

I see these "baas-tids" have increased the time slots per day since they last published on their website, and added an extra Stage (4), so they can permanently be screwing the city's residents around, if they so wish.

I am reposting from another thread, but I just heard that SA is soon going to be supplying Namibia with about 600mw. Can anyone verify this?

They will be doing it from 1st of May, sure it will alleviate the need for loadshedding or if there is, the phase needed.

We import and export to Namibia.

According to Chris Yelland South Africa is a net importer with regards to electricity. Believe it or not.

OMG.. Power Just came on now. Was off hole freaken day.. 10:00-18:30.. Couldn't find this time schedule anywhere.. If anybody knows where I can find Bronkhorstspruit Dam schedule? Schedule never match Eskom site normal Bronkhorstspruit..

Ever thought that they do this to sell more electricity?

After 2 hours I saw the following: The geyser cooled down, it came on. The freezer hot up, it came on. And while we were without power we needed coffee that we normally would not have desired. So after 2 hours the electricity meter flashes like a disco. 1-0 for Eskom.

I for one can't see what we saved and I don't believe this BS that the demand outstrips capacity on a Sunday afternoon. I rather think of it as extortion.
