Please define stage 8, 'cause if I get load-shedded every 6 hours it's Stage 8+ imho (at least three times the past 7 days, other days it's every 8 hours on, 2 hours off)

Stage 8 is 3 4 hour sessions a day with a 4 hour gap.
Stage 4 is 3 2 hour sessions with a 6 hour gap.
I'm guessing you're in CPT or KZN where you've not had real shedding
