Stalker Clear Sky : Stuck in Cordon

The military henchmen action scene does not activate after getting mission from Valerian.

Yes, I did complete the conversation with the hostage about location of loot.
The main mission disappeared off pda after talking to hostage.
Yes, I did go back to Valerian.
Talked to soldiers at bus stop.
I killed every militia on the map at every base.
Jumped through anomaly, got the pda.

I patched to Version 1.5.10 with the latest patch.
Are the patches incremental ?

I still have upgrade missions for the swamp, are these secondary tasks needed to activate the henchmen in cordon?

Please help, any ideas to get going... :cry:
I love this series of games, and want to finish Clear Sky, before buying Prip.

Hey Wrathex, I'm an absolute Stalker FANATIC but I can't recall that mission by hand, it's been ages since I've played CS (been too busy re-playing Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat) :D

Join us on the Stalker FB page if you're keen, it's usually full of helpful folk.

Otherwise give me more detail to jog my memory.

Stalker CS is sadly full of quest bug glitches. I found it played a lot nicer with the CS Complete mod installed (they fixed lots of bugs in that mod, and makes the game look stunning).

Be careful, last I looked, the mod does require you to re-start the entire game, I think. I have had issues with quests too. Also you can check out: http://stalker.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page which has quests/infos and warning LOTS OF SPOILERS.

After finishing each game 3 times, I have realised there are CRAP LOADS of goodies I missed, sheesh!

Can't wait for Stalker 2!

Totally worth it, it's like a complete (heh) remastered game with these mods but still retains the authentic feel. Stunning.

Oh yeah and it does put the system requirements up quite a bit.

also replaying stalker with this complete mod , its really really really epic !
 
This mod looks terrific - getting it. Have to say, this is probably the very best game I've played, can't get enough, will play it for 5th time with this mod :) After Stalker linear games are just not what I want :p

Maybe it's time to play Fallout again too :D
