Standalone Internet Radio Device Recommendations

I'm looking for a standalone internet radio device that will stream over wifi, has speakers and a friendly interface to browse/select stations.

Recommendations?

You'd probably have better luck buying a cheap Android tablet.

I use an old Android Gingerbread phone with TuneIn installed solely for this purpose. Play from cable connection or Bluetooth - also have 16gig SD card full of music on it - perfect for my needs

Yup, Android + TuneIn + bluetooth speaker is the way to rock it.

I use a Pure One Flow for upstairs. It has an optional rechargeable battery pack for outdoor use as a normal radio or DAB.

With the so-called 'convergence' offered by tablets now, it hardly makes sense to buy a dedicated internet radio unless it really is to be used by a total technophobe. A reasonable tablet is the same price or even less, and can do everything an internet radio does, except that the speakers are not always great (but you can fix that by plugging in a cheap external 'travel' speaker from Dischem for R79!). So why pay more to get less?
