Standard Bank EAP limit

I tried paying with EFT for the first time today and I came across a EAP limit and it was R0.00 . Can I activate this EAP/EFT using the app or do I need to go to the branch?

Try logging into the online version. From there you can send a secure message to your branch who will then call you to increase the limit or advise way foreward.

Login to new internet banking. Click Profile top right. You can increase EAP Payment limit on the side menu that appears..

I'm emberrassed to say that being someone who doesn't like to change things that work, I've never used the new IB.

I need to get with the times as I'm sure they'll decommission the old one in the not too distant future

I was also apprehensive, because it uses just an email address and a password, versus the old site where you have to enter card number, pin and password.

Ironically, the new site is missing some functions like giving notice on deposits, so when I asked Standard Bank how to do that, they said "please login to the old site". LOL

I used the new Internet Banking site to increase the limit. it was as easy as taking candy from a baby.... Not that I take candies from babies.
