I just logged into my current account, scrolled to the 'show entries' drop list and found that I am now defaulting to 'All'!

Yay, anther irritation removed, well done!
 
I think he's referring to the issue where it only showed X number of transactions by default, so you didn't see the latest transactions if you had more than the limit. That was annoying and misleading.

Is awesome, also noticed it last night. Was such a pain to restrict the number of lines on a statement to 10, despite there being more. Worst part is that I raised this with SBSA probably towards the end of last year (or whenever their new internet banking site went live) and it took them until now to change the pagination from "10" transactions to "All" - some slow developers there.

Intense testing, I imagine. But I believe banks in general have a slow release cycle.
 
Honestly don't know what they have done with their website, its just terrible in general...

I think their iOS app is pretty decent (compared to the Nedbank Business App). Considering that banks only work with debits/credits, I always thought that it should be relatively simple to do a user-friendly and intuitive internet banking website, but apparently not.

BTW: When I used to develop for SBSA, our in-branch (OS/2 based) solution in 2000 was light years ahead of FNB (we worked for the same Austrian software company specialising in branch automation, and both teams started at the same time in 1992). In 2005 I saw the FNB OS/2 solution for the first time and it had about 5% functionality compared to SBSA. I think FNB has been a bit more progressive in the last decade and SBSA lost a lot of focus with their SAP/Microsoft experiments :whistle:
 
I log onto my standard bank account once a month and get reminded each time why I stopped using them for my daily banking. I just need to go in branch and close the stupid account.

What are you on about?
I use Standard Bank via internet banking all the time with no issue.
