[schumi]

Shortly after 6pm last night (Wednesday) a white Toyota Hi Ace was hijacked in Stanger.

According to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen, the hijacking was carried out by three armed men.

An alert was sent out over various emergency networks and, with reports of the vehicle being seen traveling towards the N2 in a southerly direction, police and local security descended on various points along the national highway.

Big Show Towing reported a positive sighting of the vehicle passing through the Tongaat toll gate and authorities began pursuing the vehicle.

Pity they were not shot dead, the lot. Amazing how they scatter like rats when the lights switched on. Good on cops for getting at least one. He'll be out tomorrow, never you mind, plying his trade again !
