Star Citizen

Did you do the usual delete USER folder and verify files after download combo?

Mine crashed a lot today when I change views via F4. Server was a bit better, not as much LAGG as yesterday.

Aaaaand again same thing crash to desktoo and now ive reached ship limit or something going to leave it till this weekend to frustrating but okay its alpha so expected

Thats what is frustrating the loading and then crash to desktop. Havent actually check my ssd activity.

Im leaving it till I get a SSD. My HDD load is constant at 100%.

May be an issue if it's an older drive. Note though that Windows reports 100% drive activity even if the drive is only reading files and not actually working that hard.

Yeah this drive is about 4 to 5 years old. Standard old 7200Rpm Sata HDD, nothing special about it.

Not too much wrong there. Was thinking you could be running out of memory.

What settings to you play on?

i5 4690 at 3.5
8 gb ram
R9 280x 3gb
128 gb samsung evo ssd
Windows 10

Wow almost my specs.

i5 4590 stock
2 x 4GB 1600Mhz
Gigabyte Gtx 760 Windforce 3
Standard 7200Rpm 1TB (going to get a drive like yours SOON)
Windows 10 professional 64Bit

Try get a 250GB SSD though. 128 is just to small unless you keep only your OS and a few programs on it.

I was thinking of keeping it as a game drive only. But I think having Windows 10 on a 7200Rpm drive, it will bottleneck somewhere.

Mechanical disks should be outlawed :D

A ~250GB SSD is the minimum you should go with, I have one and it's just enough to keep my work stuff along with GTA V and SC, the rest of my games are on a spinning disk.
